Certification
ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
ISO 27001 is an international standard that sets out the requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). It provides the framework for organizations to manage and protect their information assets so that they remain safe and secure.
Benefits
ISO 27001 ISMS will help you:
-
Enhance your information security posture, boosting customer trust, and improving operational efficiency. It provides a structured framework for managing information security risks, leading to reduced vulnerabilities, fewer data breaches, and lower associated costs. The certification also acts as a competitive differentiator, enabling companies to win new business and meet regulatory requirements.
-
Identify and mitigate potential security threats, including cyberattacks, data breaches, and other information security incidents.
-
Encourage a proactive approach to risk management, allowing organizations to identify and address weaknesses before they can be exploited.
-
Implement robust security assurance processes throughout their operations, ensuring consistent security measures.
Certification Process
1. Application Review
Applicants submit an application form for review. ISS evaluates the information to determine audit duration, scope, and requirements.
2. Stage 1 Audit
An initial readiness review is conducted to assess documented information and readiness for the Stage 2 audit.
3. Stage 2 Audit
An in-depth assessment of the management system’s implementation and effectiveness. If requirements are met, certification is recommended.
4. Surveillance Audits
Conducted annually to confirm ongoing compliance.
5. Recertification Audit
Performed every three years to maintain certification validity.
